DML is a locally owned and operated Hastings business. Our core work is people. We recruit, employ, and run seasonal crews for Hawke's Bay orchards, vineyards, and packhouses, doing the pruning, thinning, picking, and packing across apples, grapes, and kiwifruit.

That work taught us what this region rewards: turning up, doing the job properly, and being straight with people. Growers don't care about slogans. They care about the crew being at the gate when the season demands it, so that's the standard we run everything on.

Over time, the same approach grew into the rest of what we do. The gear we use ourselves became equipment you can hire. The crews we trust became workers we place with other employers. And because a good lawn round comes down to showing up week after week, we mow too, from home lawns in Hastings and Napier to commercial grounds and lifestyle blocks.

We're not a national corporation that decided Hawke's Bay looked like a good market. We live here, our workers live here, and our reputation rides on every job we take. That's the whole pitch: local people doing reliable work, at a fair price, with no spin.
